Debika Mukherjee - Founder
Debika Mukherjee, a Goldman Sachs & IIM Bangalore 10,000 Women Entrepreneur, has rich experience in empowering FPOs, SHGs, artisans, weavers, and rural entrepreneurs across India. She has been actively working with them across various states, ensuring they meet consumer standards and preferences. Her venture helps rural producers establish strong market linkages for their products through value addition, packaging, branding. Her initiatives go beyond conventional skilling by creating robust backward and forward linkages—connecting them to microcredit, raw materials, manufacturers, buyers, online, offline platforms and markets. Through strategic interventions, she fosters inclusive growth and economic empowerment, transforming rural livelihoods into successful, market ready enterprises.
Anuradha Das - –Advisor
A distinguished project management professional with over 16 years of experience leading high impact, multi stakeholder development initiatives across South Asia. She provides strategic advisory support in program design, stakeholder engagement, and implementation planning, with domain expertise in sustainable development, climate resilience, energy access, and urban governance. A Chevening Rolls-Royce Fellow from the University of Oxford, she has held leadership roles with organizations such as USAID, BEE, and AIILSG. Her proven ability to align policy, partnerships, and operational execution adds significant value to advancing Divavi’s vision of strengthening inclusive and resilient rural value chains and empower community-based enterprises through inclusive, sustainable models.
Dr. Arindam Choudhuri - Advisor
A renowned agribusiness expert with 3 decades of experience in sustainable agriculture, organic farming, agri-value chain development, and post harvest value addition. A former Senior Consultant with APEDA, Ministry of Commerce, he has spearheaded numerous agri infrastructure projects across Northeast India. As an Advisor to Divavi, supporting rural enterprises and producers in value addition and market access. He also guides several state governments, institutions, and startups in natural farming and nutraceutical innovation. He continues to drive impactful, scalable solutions that bridge grassroots innovation with national and global markets.
Rajiv Ranjan Guru - Advisor
A highly experienced mentor and business strategist with 2 decades of expertise in rural enterprise development, innovation, and capacity building. With academic credentials from IIT Delhi and IIM Kozhikode, he brings strategic insight into market linkage, value chain development, and technology integration. At Divavi, he advises on empowering SHGs, FPOs, and rural entrepreneurs through branding, marketing, and digital outreach. His mission is to bridge rural producers with mainstream and global markets, enabling sustainable livelihoods and inclusive growth. He leads initiatives focused on integrating technology, enhancing branding, and building sustainable market linkages in shaping Divavi’s rural impact strategy and scalable development models.

Anita Devi - Founder Mahashakti Mahila Vikas Samiti Jharkhand
Anita Devi, a farmer’s wife from a small village in Jharkhand, is a true changemaker. With deep roots in farming, her journey took a transformative turn in 2000 when she formed a Self-Help Group (SHG) to empower rural women. In 2006, she registered her NGO, Mahashakti Mahila Vikas Samiti, and began offering training in farming, tailoring, animal husbandry, and more. Today, Anita leads a team of 30 women in producing nutritious Ragi Ladoo. With support from Divavi Gaon Ka Bazaar for packaging and marketing, she is connecting her SHG’s products to urban markets, inspiring rural economic empowerment.
Sucheta Bhandare - Founder, EarthPoorna
Sucheta Bhandare is a passionate changemaker and the founder of EarthPoorna, a brand committed to sustainable farming and rural empowerment. With firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by Indian farmers, she works directly with producer communities to ensure fair pricing, eliminate middlemen, and preserve the nutritional value of traditional foods. Through EarthPoorna, she connects local farmers with health – conscious urban consumers by offering wholesome products like vegan ragi ladoo and multigrain ladoo made with jaggery. Sucheta’s work addresses the twin challenges of poor nutrition and rural underdevelopment, making her a driving force in India’s grassroots revival and sustainable food movement.
Palak Arora - Food Technologist & Founder, SatGuru Superfoods
A dynamic food technologist and founder of a health focused startup SatGuru Superfoods and the brand “MILLIUM.” With a mission to nourish and empower through food, she creates innovative, gluten free, preservative free products made from sprouted millets and lentils. A certified FSSC 22000 Lead Auditor and Safe Food Cadre professional, Palak blends food science with Indian traditions to make healthy eating accessible and joyful. Recognized as one of the youngest entrepreneurs in the millet industry, she has received national awards including FICCI’s Millet Startup of the Year 2024. Her work champions food safety, sustainability, and community wellbeing. Beyond health, the startup carries a strong social mission—to support farmers, create employment for women, and build awareness around sustainable, traditional foods that nourish both people and communities.
Matilda Shadap - Founder, Matil Spice & Food Processing
A dedicated school teacher and tribal farmer, is the inspiring force behind Matil Spice & Food Processing, a women-led enterprise based in Madankynsaw, Meghalaya. Each day, after finishing her teaching duties, she returns to her fields to nurture the prized Golden Spice Lakadong turmeric. Starting with a small SHG loan and a passion for traditional recipes, she built a thriving business offering pickles, jams, candies, spices, and homemade wines, all made from locally sourced produce. Today, her enterprise provides seasonal livelihood to over 300 women, including single mothers and school dropouts. Matilda personally trains her team and promotes quality, sustainability, and women’s empowerment. With national market reach and plans to expand globally, she continues to transform local produce into a symbol of resilience and opportunity.
Susanto Panda - Founder Dream Hill Coffee
A seasoned coffee grower and social entrepreneur from Koraput, Odisha. Since 1996, he has managed Saptagiri Plantation, transforming it into a thriving, family owned enterprise that generates sustainable livelihoods for hundreds of tribal families. With a vision to position Koraput’s unique, high quality coffee on the global map, he established Dream Hill Coffee. Single origin preserving the uniqueness of Koraput’s coffee built on the pillars of ethical sourcing, environmental sustainability, and community empowerment. Under his leadership, Dream Hill has grown into a purpose driven brand where every cup reflects a commitment to excellence, heritage, and inclusive growth for the local farming ecosystem.
Jagpal Singh Phogat - Founder Nature Fresh and Bee Buzz
A progressive farmer and former teacher from Jhajjar, Haryana, who has pioneered sustainable beekeeping in India. Transitioning from education to agriculture in 2001, he leveraged his background to address the challenges faced by small-scale farmers. Started with just 30 bee boxes and today, he owns over 550 bee boxes and operates a full scale honey and byproducts enterprise. Recognized by both state and central government for his contributions, through his beekeeping enterprise, he not only produces high-quality honey from diverse floral regions but also manufactures byproducts like beeswax, bee pollen, and royal jelly. A dedicated mentor, Jagpal has trained over 700 individual and empowered rural communities across India by promoting beekeeping as a viable sustainable livelihood.
